What exactly is premium consignment?
Consignment is simple: you entrust me with your clothes and accessories, I take care of everything (sorting, photos, listing on the shop and on Vinted Pro, shipping) and you receive a share of the sale price as soon as an item sells.
"Premium" means that I only accept pieces that have a place in a carefully curated wardrobe. I'm not a general consignment store that accepts everything to achieve high volume. My catalog is selective — that's what allows me to have high sales rates and fair prices for my consignors.
Why my selection is deliberately narrow
I tried the "accept everything" approach at the beginning. The result: huge inventory, items that didn't sell, and disappointed consignors who were waiting for payments that never came.
Today I prefer fifty beautiful pieces that sell quickly to five hundred pieces that sit around. This means I sometimes refuse consignments – not out of snobbery, but simply because the pieces don't match the shop's positioning. And that's good for everyone: your rejected items will find buyers through other channels, and those I accept will truly be showcased.
What items I accept (and which ones I don't)
I focus on:
- Designer and premium brands: Sézane, Sandro, Maje, Ba&sh, Rouje, A.P.C., Isabel Marant Étoile, Vanessa Bruno, Claudie Pierlot, Comptoir des Cotonniers, IRO, Zadig & Voltaire, Anine Bing, and accessible luxury brands like Devernois or Gerard Darel.
- Pre-owned items in very good condition: clean, washed, ironed, without holes, stains, or odors. A perfectly preserved vintage piece has its place — a very worn premium piece does not.
- An estimated minimum resale value of €20. This is my floor price for an item to be worth listing, photographing, putting on Vinted, shipping — and for you to receive a decent share in the process.
- Women's items only (clothing and accessories) to stay aligned with my clientele.
I generally do not accept for consignment: fast fashion (Zara, H&M, Mango, Shein…), heavily damaged items, men's and children's clothing, and anything that would sell for under €20 — it's better for you to entrust these to a general consignment store or sell them yourself on Vinted as a private seller.
Commission scale, total transparency
I follow the Dresskare tiered scale. The higher the selling price, the larger your share:
- Sale price up to €30: you receive 40%
- Sale price from €30 to €60: you receive 50%
- Sale price from €60 to €150: you receive 60%
- Sale price above €150: you receive 80%
This is an honest scale: for an item sold for €80, you receive €48. For an item sold for €200, you receive €160. No hidden fees: I only get paid from the commission, and you receive your transfer within 8 days of the sale.
What happens after your deposit
If your items are a good fit
I will send you a prepaid shipping label upon validation. You send me the items (or drop them off in person if you are in or around Caen). I sort, photograph, and list them online within 5 working days. You receive a summary with the prices, and you can track sales in real time.
If some items don't fit
I'll tell you honestly by email, without judgment, explaining why. No forced redirection to another service – your items can often find a buyer directly on Vinted, at a recycling center, or a more general consignment store. The choice is yours.

How long do my items stay on sale?
The consignment agreement is for 3 months, renewable once. After this period, if certain items have not sold, I will return them to you upon simple request. No commitment, no surprises.
What if an item doesn't sell?
I optimize it over the weeks (progressive markdowns, republication, repositioning). If it truly doesn't sell, I'll return it to you — or you can choose to have it donated to a partner association if you prefer.
I live in Caen, can I drop off my items directly to you?
Yes, it's possible by appointment. Let me know by email and we'll schedule a slot together. For the rest of Normandy or France, postal delivery with a prepaid label is the easiest option.
